19th Annual Toronto Chinatown Festival

Welcome to the 19th Annual Toronto Chinatown Festival! This year's theme will be introducing arts and culture booths, multucultural street food, martial arts perfomances, renowned Dragon and Lion dances, opera performances, martial art exhibits, interactive scavenger hunt and prizes to be won. Professor Leo Chan will be hosting a walking tour down the streets of Chinatown! Entry is free for all patrons. The event will be on August 17 (12pm-11pm) and August 18 (11am-8pm). Located in Toronto's Chinatown on Spadina Ave. The entrace on Sullivan St and St Andrew St. 

The Toronto Chinatown Festival debuted in 2000 with last year attracting over 200,000 people to the streets of Spadina. This years theme, "12 Chinese Zodiac" comes from Chinese astrologies and horoscopes depicting different years represented by different animals. The cycle lasts every 12 years with an animal per year starting at the Lunar New Year. 2019 will feature various cultural performances and over 80 vendors highlighting the Chinese-Asian culture and diversity in our City of Toronto.
